Abbey Neary - Sports Therapist, Clinic Director.



Abbey Neary is a qualified Sports Therapist who graduated with an MSc from London Metropolitan University. During her studies and since completing her degree, Abbey has been gaining in-valuable experience working in a busy clinical setting and for the Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey team for the last three seasons. Abbey has also worked with the medical team for GB Ice hockey and with other sports such as rugby, providing pre-game massage for Samoa international rugby team prior to their Autumn Internationals in 2011.



My desire to want to work within the sports industry started from a young age. I participated in many sports and began to play tennis competitively at the age of 9 years old. My sporting ambitions developed from these personal experiences and striving to be the best I could. This lead me into further education at the University of Wales, Institute Cardiff completing a BSc in Sport and Physical Education. After travelling Australia and New Zealand I felt that I wanted to pursue my goal in the sports medicine industry as a sports and occupational injury therapist.
